S14 front tension rod & sway bar clearance

My front tension rods are hitting my swaybar. I want to find out how much clearance other people are running with their lowered cars.

I have a RB25 in my S14 and with the Syko mount kit that spaces the front sway bar away from the oil pan, which makes my problem worse.

I know I have a couple of options:
Raise the car.
Machine the Syko spacers and sacrifice sway bar oil plan clearance (which I currently have about .75" between the two).
Purchase a Sikky swaybar and ditch the Syko spacers (I'm 90% sure this would work if it doesn't interfere with the Nismo power brace).

The car is currently lowered using some Megan street coilovers which came with the shell when I bought it. I plan on upgrading these later this year or next year after I buy a house. (Maybe this info will give an idea about how much suspension travel I can expect).

So, how much clearance does your lowered car have? Any advice? Ever notice them hitting? Minimum clearance I should look for?

I'd look into removing the spacer for the sway bar (if possible), or spacing down the tension arm where it bolts to the control arm a little to make them not touch.

The different arm manufacturer and cranking them wont 'make any difference in this case...plus you want to keep front caster as near as OEM as possible for most cars.

Well I looked again today after work and I actually only have about .5" of clearance between the oil pan and the sway bar. I dont think taking .25" off the spacers is going to give me enough clearance for either oil pan or tension rods.

I think the Sikky sway bar looks like the best way to solve the problem, however it is $300. Nissan S14 Front Sway BarSuspension

A little steep, not that big of a deal, but another $300 I didn't plan for. Any one know of any alternatives?

Again, you can flip/space down the tensioner arms to the bottom of the control arm....

Right. Sorry I wasn't exactly sure how you would do that the first time you suggested it. I'm not sure that would work unless I cut some of the control arm out? Custom spacer/big stack of washers seems non ideal. Is that what you meant?

Yup You could make some stand offs or similar to get it under the control arm. to help space it around.

Or play with some washers under the sway bar mount or even make your own spacers as need be. So long as the engine doesn't rock and touch the pan, you're ok...so if it's in front of the pan I'd not worry about it. I know with the SR the whiteline bar runs in front of the pan and I have like, 1/4" clearence and it's totally fine.
