hydraulic handbrake info

I am curious to know a bit more about how the hydraulic handbrake works:

How does it affect normal braking?
Do you just put it in line with the brake lines that go to the rear of the car?

Do most people install an extra set of calipers on the rear for the handbrake, or does it work fine in line with the regular calipers?

Anyone who has the Ksport care to chime in? install pictures would be sweet too.

Thanks

Check ziptied...they made a thread about all this.

Powerebymax also has one for sale and explains how it is setup.

It doesn't. Well, shouldn't, if you installed it correctly.

Yup. BTW there is only one line that runs to the rear calipers (then tee's), you splice the hydro brake into that line.

No, most people use the existing calipers and pads

PS you might want to also check out the CNC Brakes staging brake:

The ziptied thread has some good info, I think we have a few hydro ebrake threads on here too.. GL
