I like seeing home built cars like this. Best build up ever! Can you please give more information on the powdercoating gun please (brand and where you got it).
Thanks Amir

I do have one other thing, a small sandblast cabinet. for proper adhesion of the powdercoat, you need to apply it to preped bare metal from what I understand. I got the gun and SB cab from Harbor Freight and salvage, and the powder from rosey's powder coat on ebay. They sell cool colors in small quantities.

Assembly... Had to modify the Downpipe slightly by removing some of the divider so that it would fit with the S15-R T28. |

I'm not sure, the new ones are different. I llok at my paperwork when I get home. One question. Those of you that have done SR swaps, what did you do with the igniter?. I removed it from the mounting bracket, but I'm looking for a sanitary way to mount it to the strut tower. I'm trying to keep it out of the way of the fuel lines/filter. Any Pics of the way you have yours mounted would be appreciated. |

just swap everything to the s13 subframe and you wont have to fabricate anything. |

Not sure if this helps but I just mounted mine with two sheet-metal screws right onto the shock tower. It was easy and keeps it out of the way. I don't have any pics though.

Ive got it mounted with some doublesided tape right now, I'm thinking that I will extend the harness and move it around the back of the strut tower for a fixed location. I dont like the idea of it sitting there right under the fuel filter.

So tonight I did some wiring so that I could have a boost guage. The setup Ive got is from PLX. I wanted to keep the dash area simple, so I went with the column pods, and eventually have another display. The two sensors I have currently are boost/vac, and wideband AFR. In the video you can see that AFR reading 14.6, thats because I dont have the O2 sensor and harness hooked up yet. Also tonight I fabricated a throttle cable bracket.
Edit... the sound is horrible in the video. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKevPRuBZcM[/ame] |
