I will usually add canned tuna or that canned chunk chicken to mine... If I have a lot of time on my hands to get creative, I will use turkey sausage and a little cheese, or I will create something and season to taste.
... no preference on what brand of ramen to use, I use whatever food lion down the street has cheapest.

i drop in an egg, some fried garlic, tomatos, and some slices of beef. a quick and good meal right there!
as far as a good ramen noodle brand, try kung fu noodles. They kick ass

There's also some dopeass Korean shit Safeway sells.. I forget the name unfortunately, I haven't been purchasing as much ramen as I normally do, since I have a bit extra cash to spend on food nowadays. :P heh I like boiling egg, chop it up then add it.. also chopped onion/celery, and sometimes thiny cut meat (like what they add to Pho). |

add those slabs of fatty pork like real ramen...or try different soup bases...try the not "instant" types that are still relatively cheap and quick to make...like the packages of soba and udon...
ive gotten hooked on some rice noodles...i forgot the name, but its rice noodles so it takes literally a minute and a half...and the seasoning and oils come together to compliment the texture of the noodles just perfect...

I love this brand noodles.
Especially the sesame oil kind, the beef kind, and a few others. When those noodles by themselves don't do it for me, I usually do it up HK style (am from HK so...). You can add some luncheon meat in there (spam for example), slices of ham, or sausages. Can also cook up some Chinese veggies (gai lan for example) and throw it in there. Or, if you wanna try something different, you can pick up that Top Ramen stuff from wal-mart, they're like $0.13 a pack or something ridiculous. Get the Oriental flavor. Now, just cook up the noodles, then strain it in a strainer so the noodles are "dry", then put the soup base in the bowl that you're gonna eat out of. Then throw the noodle into the bowl, and just keep folding/mixing the noodle up with the soup base, till the soup base is pretty much "dissolved" onto the noodles (you'll see that all your noodles are now dark instead of white'ish normal noodle color). Now you can eat it. It's really salty this way, but it's so damn good... I introduced this method of cooking it to my gf like last week, now she can't get enough of it lol |

adding things to ur ramen is like cheating.. if i wanted to add REAL food the the noodles I can just make it from stratch just as easy.. but i do add an egg sometimes.. i just had a bowl right now in fact.
I've tried pretty much all the NONG SHIM lines.. that curry noodle looks good but i've never seen it for sale. I have never tried panfrying it before i guess ill try that tonight. keep em' coming |

panfry, just cook it (throw in that awesomely powerful hot water), wait for it to cook, once its cooked, throw it in a pan with the seasonings of your choice on mild heat.
You can get pretty creative and create your own meals that TASTE AWESOME, sometimes. |
