My friend is looking for a car to replace his 90 accord, so we were checking out this 96 240sx. So on the way back, i pass this dealership, and get a naughty idea of going in and seeing if they have a 350z and if they are gonna let me test drive it.
Well, they did have a z, but it was the only one, on a stand and already sold. So no test driving. The price was around 31,500 so i guess that's what it was sold for. But anyways. The car looks gorgeus from the outside. Really well designed. Almost no outside flaws. The front is celica type looking, the back... the closest i can compare to is the new tiburon... but that's an opinion.
But, yeah, the point of this topic... the car has flaws.
a. The seats... they are too small. At least for me. The sides were pressing against my back at the chest level. Well, i'm 6'1 so maybe it's just the big people problem.
b. The door design is veeeery poor. You would at least think it should be better than what we have. I found my door handles much more comfortable. Well, the 350z door handles are slanted down. That creates a feeling as if they will slide down any time. Didn't like that feeling.
c. Finally, i got a look under the hood. Well, they surely made it nicer since the 300zx times. The engine is bigger, but the engine bay is (what it seemed) smaller. So yeah, i don't think you'd be able to fit a turbo nicely in their without custom stuff. But you prolly won't need one.
Overall, if not for those little things, the car is very very nice. Needs nothing. The cockpit is roomy. Very roomy. Yet comfortably small. Didn't get to drive it. But 287hp is prolly more than u can wish for. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='
