Blitz Turbo Timer Install...help

I just need to know if someone can help me out with something. I have the Blitz DTT-DCII. I bought the wire harness for it so it would be easy plug and play. The thing is that there is a purple wire that is not on the harness, but on the main control box instead. There is also a hollow line which I am assuming is for the built in boost guage. I need to know what the purple wire is for, and where EXACTLY it connects under the dash. Also, if someone can tell me what connector to look for to get the TT harness plugged in that would be great. Thanks.

Can you get a wiring diagram, or ask the person who sold it to you? It's very hard to find out which wire does what if you don't know the particular model.

I dont have a wiring diagram. I lost contact with the person I bought it from. It's just strange cuz the purple wire is all by itself....just chillin. Could it be a nuetral safety switch, or something that hooks to the e-brake? I have searched for a diagram, but they always are in japanese. The actual model is the DTT-DCII. I will post a pic when my roommate emails it to me.

the purple wire should be splice with the e-brake sencer wire. So when you drop the e-brake the timer turns off. Not too sure about the yellow one.

If it's the handbrake switch, you can just ground it and it will think the handbrake is engaged. That will get you running until you can correctly wire it to the handbrake wire.

yeah, I talked to a few people and they all said those were options. Either splice it into the e-brake wire (pink??) or just ground it out. I would much rather just hook it up right and splice the bish into the e-brake.

if you splice it to the ebrake cable, wouldn't your turbo time go spastic at the track?

You can turn off the timer.

The timer's function is to keep the engine idling and the ignition turned on when you remove the key, provided the timer is on and the handbrake is engage. If you don't turn off the ignition, pulling the handbrake does not affect the turbo timer.

So it's okay for track use.
