No, it's the real deal not a 240. But it will fit on the sr swapped 240 as well you just have to run the dump tube forward instead of along the runners to the back.

I haven't noticed any signs of melting as of yet, but we are monitoring it. There is a place to mount a thin aluminum shield between the compressor housing and the belt that we still can use if needed.

April 3rd will be the first event at Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds, GA for the import shootout.

No problem man. I will be at Dallas next Sun. getting some test launching data taken care of for the EMS. Hopefully I can get down into the 1.5 or even 1.4 60ft range with the 2 step.

I was talking to one of the guys on Import Atlanta(ricannick) about that last night. It is a good haul and I also have a race to attend on the 30th of april in Huntsville,AL for the True Street Car Shootout. Main reason is it is 1000.00 payout and the classes fit my car pretty well. The payout at Braggin rights is 250.00 so we'll have to see how everything goes.

Turbodave, that's the turbo you picked up in reynolds isn't it? It's awesome to see you didn't waste ANY time putting that thing on! I can't wait to see you on apr 3rd as i will DEF be out there for it.

Whats up Brian. its Voya, Hows the new shop coming along? I have been out of town for the past 2 weeks, so I have not been able to make it up there since the move. I got my car running great now so I'll head up there this weekend. Ps: Brians Silvia is fast as crap!, I rode in it with the previous turbo kit and got out light headed and started seeing stars when I got out. This car leaves my rb26 in its dust.

Actually, this is Brian. I own the car and Dave tunes the car. We switch up driving according to who feels like it. Also the turbo that is on it is the same one as last year, the 62-1 but the exhaust housing is now t4 instead of t3.

Now for the other bad news that still ticks me off. I didn't know about the turbo give away nor did Dave that day and we actually missed out on it. Sorta sucks. But I couldn't run the turbo on the car anyway because I have partial sponsorship from turbonetics and I don't think they wouyld like that too much. But hopefully we will have the EMS tuned by April 3. There's alot of jobs that are in the shop right now, so we're not quite sure when we are going to get a chance to tune it. Plus I am still running the stock cams due to HKS backorder so I am hoping to be able to put down beteen 425-450 as it is right now.

We should be arounbd this weekend but Sunday if the tuning goes well we may go to the v8 shootout in Macon or over to still for a few passes on the AEM.

We relocated all the harness to the inner fender well and ran it with the other harness so heat is not really a problem in that aspect. The downpipe is getting ceramic coated and heat wrap is being applied to the power steering
lines and the a/c lines. That should take care of any meltage that may go on.

is it really a silvia? or is it a RHD 240?

It is a silvia. The snail and a couple other people on here can vouche for me. If this means anything to you, it doesn't have the electonic sliding seat belts it has the regular style seat belts which was one of the differences between the 180/silvia's and the 240's.

True. Didn't think about that but the approval numbers on the tag of the belt say PS13 in thier approval #'s. I see what ya mean though.

I didn't want to post anything about performance till we got some quality time with the AEM EMS. These are the numbers from a couple of hours on the dyno.

Stock cams and bottom end
Splitfire ignition
EMS
Turbonetics 62-1
Custom manifold,downpipe,and echaust
Newgen wastegate
23x12x4 pwr core
custom intercooler piping
Z32 MAF
750 cc rc injectors
Heavily modified Aftermarket intake manifold
Full port polish and match on the head
AEM fuel pressure regulator

20lbs - 398 rwhp
23.5 lbs -435 rwhp
28.5 lbs - 473 rwhp

I don't think that's too bad for stock cams and complete bottom end????

Your setup looks identical to Suan Torente's SR20 he had in the RX-7. He made 501 at like 30psi i think, and had cams and all that jazz on a stock bottom end. He had a Very similar turbo and manifold. Sweet #'s any rate. good Luck

He made 545.1 whp at 26 psi i believe

Yes, someone showed me his site after we finished my setup. His sits a little bit more in front of the motor if I'm not mistaken and he was not able to retain a/c and p/s. My numbers are with the p/s and a/c still hooked up and functional(except we weren't running the a/c on the dyno :)

Also, wasn't he running a T-series turbo?????

I have the graph, but not quite sure how to post. It says file is to large. Tried streching/scewing but it say on the original size that I have 250kb of room and the file is 592kb. If I get it that small noone will be able to see it. Can I email it to someone that can resize or can someone tell me how?
