Bay area: Cheap places to play Maximum Tune and Initial D V3?

Where do you guys go? Recently I've been playing both at the Metreon at $1 a game. Is there anywhere cheaper that is easy to get to and not too crowded? I know Initial D is a lot more popular but I actually like Maximum Tune better.

I have both games on ps2, its free that way :)
I doubt you'll get anywhere cheaper than $1 a game
As for other locations in the city: SFSU has Initial D, and Riptide probably has one of em as well.

I kinda got that impression of Malibu too... wouldn't it be super crowded on Tuesdays then with everyone trying to play Initial D for $10 all day?

or an ITR!! wait.. that was the god car in the older version right? what do i know, i dont play initial d. those little kids sink so much money into that.. i heard at my local arcade some punk 12 yr old who thinks hes the shit spends like 300/wk playing that shit after school (or maybe even during) who knows, at $1/game it will drain ur wallet quick..

That's funny, most of the kids there arent old enough to drive yet think they know everything about driving from playing that game.

This kid was trying to explain this technique to me which is shifting down and up 5,6,5,6 really fast and that somehow makes you faster in the game... I just bust out laughing. :bowrofl: But somehow it does work in that game.

it sux when those stupid kids make you sweat tho! im not that bad at the game, but some of those stupid kids can drift...i just wanna be like :madfawk: . thanks for taking my dollar! are you even tall enough to reach a real clutch pedal? are your feet even big enough to heel and toe? sheesh...but then again its just a kid *exhales deeply and unclenches fists*

Its Hilarious watching the kids play initial d at Malibu. In the parking lot the last time I was there I saw 2 sr5's stickers and a couple jacked up 240's one with a sentra grill in the front bumper. All of them of course had stickers on em, I guess they're an initial d drifting team, lol. The go karts are more fun at only $20 for all the laps you can handle.

yea i go once in a while to play maximum tune, and tekken5 but i suck at tekken cuz i havent played in so long. i had to bust out tekken 4 on my ps2 to practice before i go back and play, i be getting owned.

yeah the go karts are pretty fun, considering it's $20 for the entire day. last time i went i got blisters because of driving for so long.
