Hello ,

I want to ask i had install z32 gear into sr20det in my s14 silvia .
running ORC triple plate clutch with Type A Full Engagement Release bearing.

my shifts are normal and no noice or grind when changing gears. but in some track race or road race when i try to power shift the gear it dont shift and grind.

can you tell me what could be the reason of gear grinding in powershifts ?

is it my release bearing ? or sale cylinder or my gear syncros ?

please help.

thank.s

Your synchronizers cannot slow the gears/shaft in time to allow the gears to mesh when you are full throttle shifting.

Set the car up with a standalone ems that supports no lift shifting.

You can always build the transmission. Straight cut gears life.

Okay, just because you have an AEM v2 doesn't mean that it's been properly set up for no-lift shifting. Is it cutting either fuel or ignition when you push the clutch to shift gears?

Okey its on fuel cut. and not on ignition cut.
