I broke my finger and couldn’t finish my 5 speed swap. Had the flywheel bolted up and just needed to get the bellhousing up. Anyway it’s been about a month since I’ve touched it and with all the snow and moisture in the air, my flywheel has gotten a lot of surface rust all over it. What is the best way to clean this up before I bolt up the bellhousing?

wire wheel, or even soak it in apple cider vinegar as one guy on here does it comes out great. But this of course would require you to take it back off.

Get it resurfaced at your local machine shop, it should run you about $35. As per the rest of the rust a wire wheel or soaking it in anything else that eats rust would be your best bet. Just be sure to soak it after resurfacing.
