All,

I'm having trouble finding the correct c-clip for my output shaft and it continues to pop out of my 2-way diff. The previous owner clearly modded this flange, but any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Chances are it was cut because he had problems with it himself

My question is, how is it sliding out far enough for it to not catch? Are you running the right length axles ?

is the output shaft supposed to have a c-clip inside the pumpkin?

It looks to me like you're trying to use a VLSD output shaft. Almost every 2-way on the market for our cars uses the open differential output shafts. Obviously the previous owner tried to make it fit but they aren't correct.

All stub shafts have a circlip at the inboard end of the splines to hold the stub shaft into the differential.

wow thanks, I didn't realize that. the previous owner of my coupe must have not put the clips back in when he modified my diff. my output shafts slide right out after I unbolt the axle lol and that maybe explains the leak coming out of my diff
