Underneath the plenum there’s 2 heater hoses. Along these, there’s various nipples that run to the throttle body, IACV, and one that runs behind the block. The one behind the block is what the turbo connects to. If it’s missing or the coolant lines have been modified, any of the nipples on the heater hoses will work. You’ll need to run a hose all the way around the block though

so this is what im working with, im assuming they have been modified (ive included pictures for a second opinion one is of the back of the block and one is looking down into the manifold at the coolant lines) If the case is that i have to used another nipple which one would be best to use? again sorry if this is all basic stuff im new to all this!

Any of the nipples will work, they’re all the same thing. Looks like someone already simplified the coolant lines. Make sure you cap off any extra nipples that aren’t used. The IACV and throttle body don’t need coolant lines unless you live somewhere where it gets below 0.

Here’s how I did mine. I cut the OEM metal tubes that run to the heater and deleted the loop on the back (your car doesn’t have this so you probably don’t know what I’m talking about). One of the nipples on the bottom, I think the original nipple for the throttle body, is what I used for the turbo coolant.

Any chance you have a up close shot on which one you routed it to
? i dont know which is a vacuum and which is coolant for the throttle body

Don’t run from the throttle body to the turbo.

Run from one of the nipples on the heater hose to the turbo. Cap the coolant lines ON the throttle body off.

Is this the one you’re talking about ? It’s just to the right of the throttle body and right above the thermostat

No I capped that one off.

Okay so I’ll use the one on top (see picture) and then just leave the bottom one plugged in or do I need to take the bottom off and cap it

Take it off and cap it
