Car has been sitting for quite a while due to vq35de swap being a pain. Take it out for a quick trip and I had a metallic rubbing sound coming from the passenger front wheel. Again it was just sitting and magically started. I didn't worry about it because I planned on doing 5 lug and z front brakes, thinking maybe the noise was due to those. Well I have changed those out and the noise is still there. Take the wheel off and turn the hub by hand and the noise is still there. The only thing I can think of to replace now is everything those bolt up to. That maybe it's all warped at this point. Anyone have any additional help here? S13 hatch btw

Wheel Bearing?
Did you trim the backing plate/shield for the rotor? Or do you even have one installed? Could be rubbing the hub... ?

Exactly what kind of metallic noise? Grinding? Ringing? Scraping?

Bearings were replaced with 5 lug setup and same issue after. Removed the dust shield today hoping that would fix the issue. I could call the noise more of a scraping. What I'd expect to hear if I had a warped rotor or something but they're new along with the hubs, bearings, and pads/ calipers
