Picked up an rb25 240. It is currently 4 lug and my reason for not wanting to go 5 lug yet is its sitting on a nice set of wheels.

I realize that 5 lug wheels are easier to come by, however I've got a pair of battles sitting at home I was planning on using for drift spares.

Thoughts on running 4 to 5 lug adapters on the rear? Experiences with them? Or would I be better off getting wheels re-drilled?

So you want to use drift spares that aren't the correct lug pattern for the vehicle? Wouldn't that be a huge pain in the ass to swap adapters, then bolt your wheels on and off every time? I'm not exactly sure how much time there is between runs, but I think I could find better things to do with my time.

Yes, it can be done. I would save myself the headache and just buy 5lug rear hubs...

Pretty much, I've had them sitting around and haven't been able to sell/trade them yet. I've got other things I need to do first like alignment new tires etc

More wheel options and less struggling with switching back and fourth. Source the hubs and install. Replace any worn bushings at that time as well.

Seems like it would not take long to switch between runs.
