I did a bit of digging around and learnt that the kade thermostat housing gasket cannot be used on the s13 sr w/o tweaking it a bit.
Question is, how much tweaking needs to be done?
I have a kade and would like to utilize the Sr thermostat housing in place of the OEM one for various reasons that don't pertain to this thread.
I'm wanting to know if it could be a simple fix as to having to cut a piece of the mounting hole to just be able to clear a bolt and the bolt still being able to be affective.
If that would work, how much of an angle would the tube be at, would it be an upwards angle or a downwards angle?
Obviously I'm not expecting someone to go hacking shit up. It would be awesome though if you can just get your s13 sr thermostat housing that you have lying around because you can't sell it and do a mock-up on your blown-up kade engine that you've been contemplating on using as a coffee table but your mom won't let you until you move out.
Don't leave me having.
Cheers, mates.
