Hi guys, I couldn't find a forum for things involving the electrical part of cars so I figured to come here. To start off I wanted to know if there is a place online that makes push buttons that are square, rubber coated and you could push more than once for a high/ low setting? I like the look of the buttons on a CAN keypad and I wanted to see if there are buttons like that in which I could just wire say lights to. I will try to insert a pic of the button things I am talking about. Thanks http://www.hedonline.com/HED-Files/Products/CL-6072x6Keypad.png?Medium Also if you can figure out what I am looking for because I am not good at explaining things can anyone tell me how one would hook up a key pad like the one in the pic? The reason I want individual pads are so I dont have to use a software to use it and its probably cheaper. Thanks

not exactly what your looking for but this thing is fucking sweet

I don't know of anyone that makes switch panels with multi use buttons, usually I see them with a low on one switch and high on another switch

Thats cool i like the touch pad, but I am trying to find like rubber buttons that you can wire up because in those keypads like the one pictured you have to have some wiered connector that goes to the ecu or some soft ware thing but they are like $700 so I want to find individual pads i can wire anything too. IDK if that makes sense hahaha

no the one I posted is a totally stand alone self contained unit, you can run only fans, and amp turn on and other completely unrelated stuff if you want, you just wire everything to the control box then its a usb plug up to the touch screen

Well the Motec stuff only works as one modular system, as for a stand alone unit that is somewhat like that you could look into the ARC system, it's what I have in my car

No it's great, and it comes with it's own wired compact relay/fuse block. It's as simple as add power and wire outputs, also all of the switches can be configured from constant to momentary. As for the ribbon cable it is long but it's a race engineered part that was designed with rollcage mounting in mind so it has enough cable to comfortably run to the top of the windshield if I wanted. The excess will be easily ziptied.
