Comments:
I really think this motor is solid. The bottom end has never been tampered with, but the top end has had some work done (listed above). This motor has been extremely reliable. When I bought it (in a different shell) I drove it around for months without any problems, no leaks, no inter cooler piping blowing off, nothing. Since then, the motor has been swapped into a newer and pristine chassis. The swap into the new chassis included a new Chase Bays harness, new Deatschwerks injectors, new Spec Stage 5 clutch/pressure plate, new clutch slave and master cylinder, and some other minuscule things. I did have a boost leak, but I have taken care of it. The motor is running Royal Purple.
Transmission:
Spec Stage 5 Clutch (Less than 100 miles)
Spec Pressure Plate (Less than 100 miles)
New OEM Master Cylinder
New OEM Slave Cylinder
New Clutch Line
Kaaz Advance 2-way Differential
Comments:
Just replaced the clutch and transmission 04/30/2016. We also replaced the throw-out and pilot bushing. The transmission is running Royal Purple. Clutch will need some fine adjusting. Clutch has less than 100 miles on it.
Suspension/Brakes:
Z32 Brakes with drilled and slotted rotors (front)
Tucked brake lines
MR street coilovers
Pilot STB’s F&R
Ichiba 5-lug hubs
Extended LCA's
Shortened Knuckles
P2M Rack Spacers
Comments:
The suspension still rides great. Surface rust on the coils, but that's inevitable. Rotors are brand new with less than 500 miles. Z32 Calipers painted gold.
Exterior: White
AIT Aggresive Aero
AIT Rear 30mm Overfenders
D-Max Daimyo hood
Origin Roof Wing
Origin Trunk Spoiler
Varrstoen (knock-offs) ES2 18'' 5x114.3 18x10.5+22 18x9.5.+22 (White)
Brand New Nankang tires 235/40/18 (Rear)
Nitto NT05 30% left (Front)
Brand New windshield (will be professionally installed)
Comments:
The body was repainted white in 2014. The front bumper is cracked, but not too bad (only noticeable from close). The front driver-side fender has a little nick near the top. The rear bumper has a finger-sized crack on the passenger side. The hood has a scratch close to the wipers from transport after painting and one right by the left hood pin. The wheels are color-matched with the paint, but could use repainted because of curb rash or wear from mounting/dismounting. I may re-paint the wheels if sale takes too long.
The chassis is straight and hasn't been molested. I believe it was garage kept for at least part of it's life, so there is no/minimal rust.
The bay is tubbed, stitch-welded, and painted gold. The guy that did it put quite a bit of time into it. There is one spot on top of the driver side frame rail where brake fluid ran and ruined a small section of paint, 3x5". It's only noticeable if you're working underneath the intake manifold.
Interior:
Sparco 340mm Wheel (not mounted yet)
Corbeau Forza I seat driver
Corbeau IDK seat passenger
AEM Tru-boost Guage
AEM Water Temp Guage
AEM Oil Pressure Guage
AEM Wideband
Center Mount Guage Pod
Pillar Guage Pod
Greddy spin knob
Comments:
This is where YOU'D have to decide what you would want to do, drifter or daily? I have 80% of all the interior pieces and the car will come with them in there. The dash has a crack on driver side, but the passenger half looks pristine. Could use new carpet if you want a super clean daily. All the guages work on the cluster except fuel. The float arm in the tank is broken. Might fix this weekend. I have taken out heat and A/C controls and placed a custom stainless steel bezel with a cutoff switch and S-AFC II display. There is also a button missing from the cluster that will be replaced. Power windows work great. Also, there is no rear seat. I could possibly get one from a friend.
Extra's:
Two 17" Mustang wheels painted white (drift spares)
S13 Dash
Hundreds of bolts and stuff
Turbo outlet gaskets/exhaust gaskets
Front camber plates
All the spacers you'd ever need for proper fitment
HKS Turbo Timer
UPDATE July 3rd: Went out for a cruise today and noticed car is running a little rich in boost. I will do more investigating; I think it may be the SAFC or possible boost leak. Should be fixed this week, I will keep everyone updated. Also, video is up with pictures coming soon.
UPDATE July 20th: New windshield is in and car is running great in boost! Problem solved.
