The car was pretty original besides ugly bbs wheels, blitz bov, blitz intake and splitfire ignition packs.

Installation was pretty straight forward
Just to be safe, i purchased an aem wideband, oil pressure and boost gauge. Was a good thing as my fuel pump was on its way out, causing low air fuel ratios
Right away I ordered a new walbro 255, sard fuel pressure regulator and a decided to also get an hks adjustable wastegate actuator.

After working on the car a bit, a noticed the tension rods were oozing grease, so of course I upgraded to powered by max rods. Along with my order, I also purchased their oil filter relocate kit.

Appereantly the car was a Qs with a DET swap...anyways is better to have a Qs chasis...they didnt received a lot of abuse due the DE engine.
Hey Skouki i have the same VLSD, would you be so kind to PM me or explain us the entire process that you made on your differential.

Another small update.
Came across a good deal on a used tial mvr wastegate. Sent the seller payment and had it shipped out. It came shortly after and everything looked to be in good condition. Upon further inspection, i realized it wasn't an mvr but an mvs. That being said, I had no use for it as my new manifold had the mvr flange already. Seller was nice enough to give a full refund as he wasn't aware that the wastegate was an mvs. So i am still looking for a used mvr wastegate but will most likely end up just buying new. Also decided that my blue personal wheel wasn't quite what I wanted in my interior so I bought a leather nardi classic wheel to bring the interior together. Another update, I ordered my chasebays brake line tuck kit along with fender lines to complete my ctsv brake swap. That order should be coming within the next couple weeks.

Because my car is in a garage that isn't insulated and I live in Saskatchewan, I haven't been able to work on it all winter. Today was the nicest day of the year so far with a temp that hit 13 degrees celcius. It's not going to stay that nice for long so i decided to start a day project. That being the wiper motor clean haha. I removed it, wire brushed it and repainted it with some tremclaud. Turned out looking a lot better than it did so im happy.

changing oil (15w40 rotella), oil filter relocate installed and was able to put the car on the ground with
the new wheels. Must say, these te37 look and fit far better than the xd9's.
Still undecided if I want to remount the apexi dual n1 or go with something new.

The 19 year old adhesive on the valences was starting to lift so I reapplied the 3m adhesive to the
back of the valences so they have a tighter fit.

Chase bays brake line relocate/abs delete along with fender well lines showed up in the mail today. Will
spend the weekend mounting the lines. I am still insearch of finding a BM57 brake master cylinder with
3 ports. As soon as that's found, this car will be back on the road and ready for summer.. until I find
something new to buy aha

Amazing build so far! I've been considering the CTS V brake upgrade as well, I'm wondering what brakes you plan on running in the rear to compliment the braking power up front? Previous pictures looked like stock rear brakes to me.

Was able to track down a s14 240sx manual 5 speed brake booster. It is the slimmest booster of the schassis'. I decided to go this route because I had ordered a lhd bm57 and was hoping by doing this it would clear the shock tower.
https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4167/33607492143_7fea88bf72_c.jpg
Once I recieved my brake master, i found out that the third port did not come with a flare fitting so i robbed it from my abs unit that I had removed.

Comparison shot of the silvia manual abs brake booster and the new one
https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4174/34417511745_6873af3904_c.jpg
With the slim booster I was able to just barely fit the brake master on without hitting the shock tower. Because I had purchased the chasebays line kit, fitting the lines was pretty easy. I had to indent the shock tower slightly to be able to fit the banjo bolt from the brake line.

While I was working in the bay I got around to relocating my battery to the trunk which helped clean up the bay a lot. Bay is finally starting to look less clustered.

Ripped into the diff tonight. Not sure how well shimming a vlsd is going to work but so im going to test it out. I'm putting in 2 0.8"" shims in hopes it will act as a 2-way.

It had been a super busy summer so there hasn't been many updates on the build. I got my hands on a tial mvr to go with my doc race manifold. I bit the bullet and ordered a new turbo so it should be here any day. I decided to go with A borg warner s257sxe with a 0,63 a/r.

Has been a very long time since I have last updated. I had seemed to have lost interest in this car for quite some time. Decided to out a few hours of work into the car this weekend and get it back on the road. Driving it for the first time in 2 years has brought back my interest for this car. Will hopefully continue updating for frequently. As for now, here the last picture after washing 2 years worth of dust off her.

Not an update to the car but I bought myself a workbench to put in the garage. Partly why I lost interest in the build is because the garage is not insulated and our winter lasts for about 6 months. The plan is to fully insulate the garage this fall so I have somewhere to work on the car for half the year.

The day has finally come that I decided to relocate my fuse box. Thinking that tons of wires needed to be cut to even start the job had be nervous. Although, finding out that the whole harness can be pulled through the firewall and the only wires needing to be extended are those that go to the headlights have be relieved. I am still undecided as to where I am going to put the box. This is my progress so far as I don't have the supplies to go any further so I didn't bother cutting wires. So far I am very pleased with how it looks and how straight forward it is. Not sure why people start cutting all wires when it can simply be pulled though??

I'm finally getting to the point where I am starting to throw money under the hood. I pulled the trigger on a new turbo. I decided to go with a gtx3071r Gen 2 with 0.64 exhaust to help with lag. While waiting on my wiring harness, ecu, and tubs I got bored and ordered a couple parts from japan. Only took about 5 days to receive. A cusco cooling panel and yashio factory rad hose for the bling factor.

Decided to pull the dash so I can eliminate the hvac system. As I dont drive this car much, i figured I shouldn't need it. While the dash is apart I painted to the dash bar for a cleaner look. I have yet to pull the whole system out but there should be next to nothing behind the dash because I will be pulling the chassis harness out and having a new chassis harness made to run only the basics in the car.
https://live.staticflickr.com/7869/47554338722_59e2573cfc_c.jpg
The wiring specialties harness showed up and I couldn't be more impressed. They do nice work there. This harness is wired directly to my ecumaster black ecu so there is no need for a patch harness. The harness comes wired for basically any sensor ever needed. And what else makes this harness very cool is that it is pre wired for an ecumaster adu digital display and usb to can. Can not wait to have this all set up.

Hadn't planned on picking up a cd009 quite yet but the opportunity was there so I did. It looks to be in very nice condition. It ended up cleaning up quite well. My plan is to pair it with a mazworx kit along with a gktech shifter. At this point I have no idea what clutch setup I will run but i'm thinking some sort of twin disc.
