Hello guys I am currently in the process of rebuilding my KA24E SOHC and I'm wondering what I don't need for a track purpose car. I will not be driving this car on public roads, it will only be used on the track. So what is everything I can delete to clean up my engine bay with unnecessary stuff that's not vital to how the engine runs?

The air injection stuff can go, it's only for catalyst performance.

Oh yeah I deleted that bad boy before the rebuild. So far it's the only thing I have gotten rid of.

Just to be clear no driving to the track to race it ? You have a full trailer set up.

lol im just yanking a fellow locals chain.
Remove the emission equipment, ac components, power steering is really up to you, like someone else said you could remove the wiper motor since vegas doesn't rain, convert clutch fan to electric fan/removal of shroud.

This ^^
I also find this hard to believe. The OP didn't give any class he is going to compete in, and he still uses a KA24E. On a race car. No one in their right mind would do that, unless forced to - either by class rules or lack of money.
Since no class is mentioned, lack of money remains. Which is not compatible with the price of a trailer and the need of a tow rig, so i don't believe the OP either.

I don't know man. There was a local guy selling a ka24E SCCA racecar for the low price of 8k

You mean a car built to fit a particular racing class, something the OP does not mention as I already pointed ?

With only rear calipers, when you hit the brakes you will initiate sweet driftz.
