View Full Version : Energy suspension subframe bushing problem s13

So with the energy suspension rear subframe bushing you aren't supposed to remove the inner sleeve in the subframe... Well I did now the subframe is just sliding down the bushing and resting on the nut/oem washer and tips tricks to fix this I found this thread http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=382213 but I cannot wrap my head around post#12/13. No rush as i have a broken finger and still have to press out all of the other bushings any ideas?:picardfp::picardfp::picardfp:

Either get another subframe or order some solid bushings..

Okay so this is how I fixed the bushing sliding up on install. I bought 16 giant washers and used 8 of them basically the subframe uses an upside down cone washer to tighten it down. So I put the washers in between the cone and the bush. Tightened it right up to the frame at that point.
