I am running into a strange issue, with the timing set to where it needs to be at 15 degrees the car feels insanely slow. It will build boost but not go anywhere, just feels really held back. I am better off giving it 20% throttle. I have tried two different CAS, two mafs, swapped fuel rails, fprs, ecus, unplugging the knock sensor, tps voltage is perfect, new plugs gapped at .3, new 300zx tt fuel filter. Idle and cruising wideband reads lean (17.5+) but under boost it does around 11-12. I do have an a small exhaust leak before the wideband I believe.
So with the CAS in the middle, and yielding 15 degrees with a timing light via the loop on the wiring spec harness it just wont get out of its own way. With the CAS maxed out advanced the car runs great. Pulls hard, throttle response is great, and doesn't seem to be pinging. Afrs still lean at idle and cruise, but like I said I believe there is an exhaust leak before the wideband.
The mechanical timing looks to be good, I have double checked the CAS is poked right. I just don't know what would cause something like this to happen. Anyone have any ideas? I don't feel safe running the car with the timing advanced so far even though it seems alright.
