So ive searched every forum I could think of and found out squat. Heres my deal Ive got a rb20det with simple mods like injectors, z32 maf, bigger turbo, aem fic 6, etc etc. My buddy is tuning for me cause hes the 240 guru around me. Tune is reading all fine and dandy on the aem wideband and driving fine. Only problem is when I do a wot pull is when i let off if i dont control it for a couple seconds after it will die. Thought it was the IACV like everyone told me replaced that didnt do anything. TPS is also brand new working great. Now im being told it could be something else mechanical or MAF placement. What do you all think?
Thanks!
How's the idle under normal circumstances? Or when you're coming off throttle when you're just normally driving or not doing a pull?
If it's not the IACV or a metering issue, it screams vacuum lines to me. Do you have a smoker or pressure tester?

The idle is fine under normal driving. If I let of easy it'll be fine. But if I let off real quick like if I would have to brake hard it would die. I've smoke tested it at work and didn't see any leaks.

Is the BOV (blow-off valve) recirculated? Open BOV can cause your issue.

Well when it was working it was open to atmo. But now it's not opening so it's just fluttering the turbo.

Random: why is the bov not working?
Issue: It's either too much air or too much fuel. you need to know which one it is, then use the tools to fix it.
example, if you are sure you have no vac/boost leaks? all sensors are functioning properly.
what does the wideband say when coming off throttle? does the tach read zero or does it hover slightly above where normal idle resides.
Fix test examples, raise idle higher. Turn down or up fuel pressure. create a controlled leak, pinch lines.
Then get results: if its something that can be tuned out, tell your tuner
if its a faulty part, replace it.
The first person you should talk too is, your tuner. if he can't/won't help you, he shouldn't be tuning your car.
just spit balling over here.

What's the MAFS placement in conjuction w/ the turbo, distance wise?
