hi, came from z32 chassis, new to the rb.
noob questions
where can I buy an upgrade ECU for rb25det ? im fine with both oem reflash or aftermarket , as long as its plug and play
why the o2 sensor has 3 connection wires? what are they for?

For a chipped/flash RS-Enthalpy can do them I believe. There's also Nistune and Nismotronic.
Aftermarket there's tons of options, Adaptronic, Megasquirt, Haltech, Motec, ProEFI, AEM, Apexi PowerFC and others.
Really have to see what options you want, as well as what your tuner close to you prefers to use.

what I have is a stock rb25det engine with stock turbo (going to a 240sx chassis)
I don't need monster power, just a little upgrade from the facotry is fine
reason I am buying it is that the engine I come up with DOES NOT have an ECU at all. so I wondered I can just buy an upgraded one
which option is cheaper (or best bang for the buck)

Find a stock ecu, there is no reason not to run the stock ecu with your current setup. That's your best option.

socketed stock ECU, with nistune if you want tunability, e85 tuning and launch control, without if your tuner uses its own or you don't want that.
If you want logging capabilities or advanced features, go standalone. Which one is up to your requirements, budget, and tuner.

Stock Rb25 ECU is hard to work with. Most that turn to Nistune use a Z32 ECU that has been reflashed.
I think I have a stock S1 ecu running around if you need something to get you going. PM me if interested.
