SR20 ticking / squeaky sounds

Hi,

I got a ticking noise that seems to be louder lately. Also it's now also making a squeaky sound, thats from I can tell not from the belts. it drives as normal, so I really don't have a idea what it actually is. Someone that has?

Hard to say don
Make sure your oil is full

I would take tge valve cover off and have a look around
Make sure rockers are still in place
Check over cam lobes

Hope you figure it out

The oil is full, didnt had a chance to look around yet. But sometimes the sound is gone, and sometimes it's loud. Will try to flush the engine.

How you opened up you oil cap to check for noise under valve cover yet?

try dripping some water on the belts to make sure it's not them. i had a similar rattle it turned out to be the air con belt.

It went from bad to worse! Not drivable anymore :(
