Alright so my car ran great until the upper timing chain tensioner went. (Freeze plug in the top blew out). Naturally I replaced it with a new one and it cured the noise it was making.
I reset the distributor timing to 20btdc and it seems to run sluggish. Hooked up the consult and found out my tps was reading .54v at idle instead of .40v (FSM spec). Timing is still perfectly at 20btdc and the car still isn't happy. A little sluggish.
Hooked up the consult again and the ecu is reading 16v?? Checked the terminals on the battery and get 14.2v... Anybody have any ideas why the ecu would see this? Do you are think this could be affecting the engines drivability?
