New valves in sr20det

Hey guys. Im just putting new valves in my sr20det, after i got it back from the machine shop. Do you guys normally lap the valves yourself, og do you get the machine shop to do this for you?
Its Brian Crower valves. Std size. My plan is to take it to the machine shop afterwards to make them vakumtest it. To make sure the valves are lapped in well. But what do you guys preffer?

I'm not sure what the case is with new valves, but I've lapped used KA valves into a head and re-lapped the og valves in my current SR head. I figured it seemed kinda hard to screw up, both motors seemed to run good enough lol.
