So I'm still trying to get this rb started and even with all the grounds tested and working, and direct 12v supplied where needed, it still won't start. I checked and it's getting signal from the cas to the ecu but theres no fuel or spark

Check that the ECU is getting power WHILE you are cranking. If ECU power is pulled from an accessory source, sometimes the power is cut off while cranking. If that is all good, then check the ECCS and IGN relays (i.e. jumper them). If those are good, double check the CAS is sending voltage to the ecu and what the voltage actually is. Should be <5V on both signal wires (0* and 120*).

All the power is supplied where it's needed directly from the battery. And cas is sendin out proper signals

The only ways you won't have spark or fuel simultaneously will be because of a bad ECU, a bad CAS...or bad wiring for both.

Is there voltage at the coils? How are you verifying that you don't have spark? Resting plugs on the valve cover?

I have tested voltage at the coils. I'm testing spark by resting a spark plug on the valve cover and the fuel rail is actually pulled out to watch them.
I tested the cas both ways you can test them and it passes both. Tested continuity in the wires from cas to ecu and they're fine. I feel like it's a bad ecu but the importer guaranteed it was working

It sounds like a bad ECU, but to confirm, you did measure the voltage from the CAS signal wires right? They should go between 0V and 5V. Without confirming that, you can't point the figure at the ECU yet.

Yes I measured both at the ecu. between. 0v and 5v whIle turning the cas by hand

Has to be a bad ECU then. If the wiring is correct, the CAS is working properly and wiring to the ECU is good, the plugs and injectors should fire.

Alright thanks. I got abother ecu I can borrow to test it so we'll hope for the best
