ok so here is what has been checked.
injectors ohm'd-in spec 3.6ohm
injector o-rings- no leaks(new)
injectors themselves- no leaks
all vacuum sources checked- no leaks(smoke tested today aswell for confidence)
tps signal-in spec 1.1-4.14 sweep
MAF signal- in spec cold: 1.8v warm .8-1.1v--3 mafs used no diffrence
knock sensor- in spec(straight wired to ecu from sensor)
o2 sensor check(not necessary to run)- proper function
no codes stored-code 55 all good.
spark plugs swapped with bkr7e-11(.028 gap)
coilpacks checked- proper function
ignition timing checked( +15*)
coolant temp sensor swapped with new
fpr- swapped with known good used
fuel pump- brand new 255lph
mods:
fmic
440cc injectors
t3 top mount kit
safcII (this is the second afc i've tried and it was pulled out of a running car tuned car)
also when i say ridiculously rich i mean clouds of fumes, burnt eyes real bad.
now for actual symptoms. symptoms get worse as car warms up. the vehicle when cold started will idle around 11.8 afr.
under initial throttle afr leans out stutters and then catches itself. slight stuttering on throttle but not too noticeable. when warm goes to max rich +10afr. horrible stuttering issues, when revved misfires, if trying to maintain and rpm we'll say 2k it will cut out bog down and start missfiring like it has ignition/fuel cut. now as far as the afc part goes and why im on my second is i cannot make adjustments. i can go +50 or -50 and nothing can change throttle up or down and still nothing. can change my ins and out which ar 2in 7out to pretty much anything and inbetween with little to no effect. wiring of the afc has been triple checked.
if someone can think of anything i've missed please let me know. otherwise im starting to think ecu or somethin wrong with the harness.
