View Full Version : fuel gauge ans speedo not working

im a little late on posting this but after doing my s13 sr20 swap in my s14 my gas gauge and speedo stop working. is this a common problem and is there a way of fixing it?

What Lower/Transmission Harness are you using? Need to put the S14 VSS in the transmission.

im running the s13 lower harness. would that affect the gas gauge also?

No, that's a different matter. You put a fuel pump in or something?

You need to put the S14 VSS in the transmission line and get a S14 speed sensor harness/cable to run from the VSS to the fuse box. Should be able to harvest the black cable from your KA lower harness. If it was manual you can grab the VSS too. Auto has a different gear on it.

Ok gotcha. But no I'm still running a stock fuel pump
