Hey guys plan on getting my rb25 trans rebuilt over this winter and was wondering if anyone could give me a definite answer on if the rb25 trans and 300zx n/a trans internals are the exact same.i DONT wanna source another trans. I c posts saying they are but haven't been able to find anyone who has had one rebuilt with 300zx n/a internals such as syncros an bearings, normal wear things. Any info on this would b a huge help

I'm planning on rebuilding mine next month too..all parts internal are same as 300zx from what I read so far. Synchros and bearing kit should be the same as 300zx. The TT 300ZX parts should be also the same..

So far its going well the 300zx rebuild kit is the one to go with..I am still in the process of putting all the gears, bearings and synchros together... But everything is right so far with the kit..

you will need a press and quite a few tools to get the job done..
replace the insert springs while its apart , they are cheap and available from nissan.
Check this link out its pretty much the same as an RB trans

yes its a pathfinder but they are very simular
