My rb20 has so much corrosion build up in the coolant passages, it no longer cools efficiently. I was wondering if some coolant gurus had some sort of magic remedy that could help me eliminate some of that oxidation. Please tell me all your weird tricks and what not, I'm open to anything.:drama:

Well you can start by doing a few flushes. And keep re-filling with distilled water.
If you live where it freezes obviously dont leave that distilled water by itself in there.
The reason it corroded to begin with is probably because somebody used TAP water, which contains all kinds of things, IONS for instance, which allow the passage of electrons, which cause corrosion. to put it simply.
Distilled water (or reverse osmosis water) will not conduct electricity (easily...) and will put a stop to nearly all corrosive action. however you still want some coolant for it's lubricative property.
My next suggestion you will not enjoy as easily. You can theoretically take your engine apart and start scrubbing the corrosive material out with a brush... several brushes. And a pick. etc...

If it's so bad the best way is to rip the engine down to a bare block and have it hot tanked. It's a common issue with rb's I've noticed. Mine was horrid from sitting for years.
