This is how I would tackle this problem

#1 check your compression cold, and look at your plugs cold (before start)

Now get the engine hot and shut it off. Check your compression hot (before trying to start hot)

Now, crank the engine hot (it wont start). Once you crank a few revolutions, check the plugs again. Smell and look for evidence of gas (the plugs should be more "wet" than a minute ago, when you checked the compression hot)

Now with the plugs all out, check for spark (insert plug into a coilpack and ground the electrode to visually inspect for spark)

If you found gas, and you found spark, and you found compression, ALL while hot, well that is unlikely since the engine would have started. So one of these things must be missing.

Unless.... The only way it would not start with fuel/spark/compression is if there were TOO MUCH fuel. In which case the engine could be started by holding the throttle down, allowing more air into the engine. The ECU will "clear flood" if you floor the throttle while cranking, allowing no fuel to inject.

Notice none of these steps involves heavy electronics work, harness work, etc... This is no accident. Often the simplest answer is the right one. Before you starting checking all your wires and sensors figure out which of the three primary systems is not working, then replace parts as affordability / accessibility allows. (for instance, if you found the spark to be the issue, you would swap out the igniter first because that is the simplest cheapest quickest part to replace.) As an initial guess I would just say perhaps your plugs are old, or the coilpacks are old, not allowing for a strong spark while the engine is hot (heat adds resistance). Something else you can try for a quick diagnosis is: unplug the maf while the engine is hot and try to start like that.
