The car is extremely slow. Major bogging.
Revs freely with no issue.
When the car is under load it bogs until 3k rpm, when the motor revs up at 3k like it is neutral and the engine pulls timing and there is no acceleration.

Ecu through the knock sensor code. I did the resistor mod with the knock sensor. Code is off my ecu but acted the same. So I wired the knock sensor back. No codes. Still bogging.

Back ground on the motor.
Came out of a running car with no issues. Everything worked. EGR and Evap Delete.

Back ground on the chassis.
Was decent with RB20, put the RB into another car and ran Better. Fuel pump was running fine as well.

Things I have tried to fix the issue I am having.
Compared everything to another s13
Searched on Zilvia.
Swapped MAF.
Swapped FPR.
Swapped ECU.
Checked TPS.
Sanded down every engine ground.
Installed even more engine grounds.
Checked every relay.
Checked every fuse.
Checked the Alternator.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Fuel pump/filter next on the list.

Seriously only need air/spark/compression. the fact it revs freely and even runs at all, and I assume drives somewhat normally, indicates that the spark is good and compression is good...


... which leaves just fuel. Which matches up to the symptom of poor acceleration.

Fuel Pump is around a year old. Walboro 255. I was hoping it wasn't bad. But I am not going to rule it out. The fuel filter is an oem one around 2 years old. I am going to buy a new z32 fuel filter tomorrow and if that doesn't fix it, I'll definitely test the fuel pump. I appreciate it man!

It might just be a ruptured line in the tank.
A quick test you can do is pull the feed line off your fuel rail and hit the key. if the fuel comes out strong and fast vs weakly and sputtery you will have a clue.

I'll try that as well. All fuel lines are about a year old. So I wouldn't think they would fail unless they were rubbed against something!

When you install the walbro you add a clamp and mess with the lines. maybe it got loose or something is all I am saying. How many times I have seen zip ties in the fuel tank?

you have zip ties in the tank dontcha?
