So me and a friend decided that after years of sitting in the box I received it it, we'd tackle installing a dcc I bought off a forum member. The person already had the wiring labled for where it needed to go so using those tags and using both the write up off here and a guy's step by step video, we got everything installed without too much hassle... or so we thought.
We got everything installed exactly how the videos said to do and wired exactly like the write up says to do on here. By doing it this way here are the current issues as of last night.
1. the air blows all the time. switched back to the usdm blower resistor and it
fixed the air blowing when the key is at ACC, but still continues to blow
when the key is turned on and when the car runs, even when the dcc is
turned off.
2. even with the hvac working and the rod bolted in just how the videos
show, the ac does not change temp.
3. as of 9am this morning, the dcc seems to be draining the battery. Came
outside to find the car completely dead. Jumped the battery to start the
car and the unit worked except for the display screen.
The car is a 93 240sx se coupe if the year make the difference.
ANY help anyone can give would be appreciated.
