Hi guys.

I have a blacktop S13 SR.

It's current fuel setup is:
255lph Walbro
Tomei FPR
OEM Fuel Rail modified with -6 AN fittings
Stock 370cc injectors

My power goal is 400-450rwhp with a GT2871R.

So I wanna know you're guys opinion on top feed vs side feed, and brands.

Currently looking at my options, I could get cheap 720cc curcuit sport side feeds for under $300 (http://www.frsport.com/Circuit-Sports-NS720-4-720cc-Fuel-Injectors---Nissan-SR20DET_p_64259.html), but I don't have good faith in CS for my injector needs.

I could go with Tomei 740cc side feeds (http://www.frsport.com/FRSPORT-1200-Tomei-193023-740cc-Fuel-Injector-Set-for-SR20DET-KA24DE_p_1165.html), but those will set me back a whopping $700.

For $700, it would actually be cheaper to buy a curcuit sport top feed fuel rail (http://www.frsport.com/Circuit-Sports-FRK-NS13TF-WSK-Top-Feed-Fuel-Rail-Nissan-S13-SR20DET_p_26682.html) for $150, and with that I could get injector dynamics 850cc top feeds for $500 (http://www.enjukuracing.com/products/injector-dynamics-sr20det-injectors-11mm.html), which would leave me with $50 more, more injector capacity, a better fuel rail, and cheaper future injector upgrades/replacements.

Which route is better and why?

What injector brands should I avoid, and which ones excel?

I have a set of deatschwerks 810s with no issues yet. Came with a 1year warranty as well I believe.

Buy quality injectors, Sard, Nismo, Tomei, etc are all good options. If you don't want to fork out the dough for them, get some Injector Dynamics. You'll have to convert to top feed, but you'll have plenty of injector if you ever wanted to increase output.

People need to hop off the nuts of jdm tight injectors.
Top feed fuel rail
Siemens Injectors 80Lb or like 835cc (off top of my head)
Whole set up should cost you less than 400, you'll be top feed, probably have better performing injectors, have easy cheap replacements, and equisite dwell control, no resistors required. Maybe change the clips

Soo, these (http://www.siemensdeka.com/product/80lbh-siemens-deka-4-mototron-high-impedance-long-style-ev1-fi114992/)?

How good are they, comparing to like Tomei's or Injector Dynamics?

Get bosch ev14 based injectors, they are bazillion times better than jdm or lucas based injectors. Newer tech, better spray faster opening and closing ... you can recognize them easily, they all look like the injector dynamics ones (because they are based on ev14).
They are high impedence, so you need to remove the dropping resistor if you have one.

If you don't want the ID version, fuel injector clinic and fiveO also carry EV14 based injectors.

Don't cheap out on injectors, crappy ones tend not to be matched and get sticky, meaning you will end up not being able to map the car and ultimately killing your engine.
