Hello, I recently bought a 90 240sx coupe 5speed with 57,xxx original kms on it.
when I found this jem she sat for aprox a year maybe less. Id start her up and it would have a hard time starting but when it does it feels like its running on 2 or 3 cylinders but shut it off and start it again she would run normal at 1100 rpm but when she gets hot it drops to 800 rpm and you tap the throttle and it would drop around 400-200 rpm as if it would stall and catch it self back up again and be steady at 800 rpm. She had a few issues at first, fuel gauge did not read, and the Capacitor in the HUD was bad both I repaired both. When I pulled my fuel sending unit to replaced it I noticed that the fuel tank was rotting from the inside out and that water had gotten in. I replaced my fuel tank cleaned out my fuel lines best I could and changed my fuel filter and filled it up with premium. So far what I have done that DID not fix the issue was:

Found spark plug #2 smell of fuel
Tune up(New Cap, Rotor, Plugs, Wires)
New fuel tank, new fuel filter
Fresh oil Change,
New Coolant temp Sensor
Cleaned MAF, connector and plug
Cleaned out IACV
Inspected vac lines and all intake boots no leaks
Ran engine and pulled injector wires, Engine would hesitate and shake as I pull each connector.
Ran engine and pulled plug wires and still it would hesitated and shake as i pulled each one.

Please any help would be great as I have ran out of things to check.

Also my fuel sending unit and fuel pump came as one from a parts car from a Junk yard it was no purchased brand new.

Pull number 2 again and see if still has a smell of fuel...? Could be leaky/sticking injector? Also does car rev up at all past 2500-3k rpms? My sr did this and it was a bad maf and 02 sensor...
