I have a SR20DET blacktop that I need wiring and an ecu for. Will the NA ecu work with the proper harness? I am gonna get a wiring harness from wiring specialties. I am also gonna have a Z32 maf. What sensor would I have to change?

You will definitely need an SR20DET ECU and harness to run your COP ignition system. You will also need a tunable ECU, like NismotronicSA (http://www.nismotronic.com/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=29), to tune for a Z32 MAF. Of course the NismotronicSA system also allows you to convert to speed-density tuning with the addition of MAP and IAT sensors, so no MAF needed.

So if I get a s14 NA wiring harness and COP harness from wiring specialities the NA ecu would work w my s13 blacktop? I have an emanage w software and all the ad dons that I will be using for tuning. I have a plug and play harness for the NA ecu, plus NA ecu are easier to find than the J5 type x ecu.

honestly unless you know what you're doing it probably won't. i had an ecu 'tuned' for a z32 maf for my rb and a few other things and i ended up having to trash that ecu and go back to stock. it's best to just get the correct ecu, or something along the lines of what onthechip was referring to. i wouldn't worry about getting a s14 na wiring harness...look on ebay, they sell wiring specialty harnesses for the s13 blacktop for s14 AND s13 chassis. also i wouldn't worry about a z32 maf unless you're swapping turbo and injectors...i'd find the correct ecu unless you know what you're doing...correct me if i'm wrong but wouldn't you need a distributor for the s14 na harness....s13 sr20det doesn't have distributor.

NA ecu will not work, youll be wasting your money. 2 different logic's behind how a de and det ecu control the motor

The NA ecu is for the s14 Kouki sr20det 5spd. Not de versus det. I have a bb t28 w 550 injectors. I know they have the harness for my car to engine. I'm wondering if the ecu's are interchangeable?
