Isis dual radiator fan shroud kit "question"

My oem single radiator fan recently broke. The wiring got some how wrapped around my fan and shredded. I'm leaning towards the dual radiator fan set up. I'm aware they come with 2 separate wires to plug in for them to work and I believe stock only has 1 wire input. So can I bank the 2 wires together to make one single input to run into the old wiring harness? If you understand what I mean (make 2 wires into 1) or if anyone knows any good radiator fans I should buy for not too much

What car and engine is this fan being paired to. Kind of hard to tell you much more if people don't have any idea what kind of car it is.

Do you have an OEM clutch fan AND electric fan, or just an electric fan? Usually you will have 2 fan setup, one for engine cooling, with the secondary being a smaller fan for the AC, and only comes on when using the Air conditioning.

Sorry lol it's a 1995 240 with a ka motor. I am just replacing the radiator fan itself

I know my ac compressor is bad. I ordered I new one It jus hasn't came in yet. I replaced the belts to just see if that was it and it wasn't so I'm hoping it has something to do with the ac compressor. Is the ac clutch inside the compressor?

This is a clutch fan. the twin fan setup is to replace this, and the AC fan.

That is why they are wired separately and only 1 plug in the factory harness (as the clutch fan is mechanical).

you can wire them together and have them run full time with an ACC on 12V source, or you can wire 1 to an ACC source and the other to the factory AC fan plug. The choice is yours. the Factory Clutch fan will no longer be needed and can be removed.

I did exactly that, I wired the 2 positives and 2 negatives, made them one, and put it with the stock connector.

Oh okay that makes for example the stock radiator fan has 4 wires. Ground then there's blue green and yellow all going into it.and on the dual fans there ground and the blue wire, so you just connected those then? And you just left you other wires unconnected then? Thank you I will try this!

Well my KA radiator had an electric fan with a connector that had only 2 wires I believe. I'll take a picture when I get home. It's also wired up to a fuse and runs when the fuel pump is on. I want to get a controller though so I don't burn the fans out.

That's how mine looks, idk if the previous owner used a different connector, but the fan mine came with only had a blue and a black, and plugged right into that connector. Following it though, it doesn't even look like the brown/black is going to the harness, it just routes to the negative terminal and a fuse as far as I can see.

Okay but see this is my old radiator fan wiring set up and it has the clip at the end that clips into the wiring that goes into the fuse box I believe
