Ok guys I just bought my S14 a month back with Welded Differential, I really liked it for drifting but sucked for daily driving so I had to make the change to VLSD. So I bought my 300ZX NA VLSD on Ebay for like 250$ , and installed it today. I actually used the same Flanges on my other Welded Diff on this VLSD so it could fit onto the Axles as I didnt have any new ones. After the installation I wanted to check if it does work like the LSD, so I picked up my right wheel with the left still on the ground, and while doing that I started my car and drove it, and with my surprise only 1 wheel moved and the one on the ground is not moving at all. As I remember correctly with LSD shouldnt it move the car with the left wheel on the ground, or is there something I dont know about this VLSD from the 300ZX NA R200V Diff? Please Help because I dont know if I installed it the right way or if it should be like that, or explain to me how this 300ZX VLSD works.

You used the welded diff's flanges, that's your problem.
If you were to do some research, you'd know that VLSD diff's have two different length flanges. Get the right parts for your diff and perhaps it'll work.

Thats the point the VLSD Flanges that came with the Differential dont fit onto my S14 240sx , because they have different outputs, thus I put my 240sx flanges from the welded diff I had before.

You used open diff output shafts from your welded diff in the vlsd, that's what he's saying.
If the output shafts are 5 bolt you'll need some j30 axles IIRC

So I am going to need different axles put on my 240sx and then get the VLSD flanges from the 300zx for it to be VLSD? my 240sx are 6 bolt output shafts.

Winner winner, chicken dinner. You need the correct stub axles for the VLSD and the matching axles to bolt into your car.
Like I said, some research on the topic would've yielded this conclusion.
