Ok I just picked up a rb25det neo for my s13. Before I put it in, I changed intake manifold, exhaust manifold gasket and when I took the turbo manifold off I notice oil in the head on the exhaust port in cylinder 4 and 6. I was a little skeptical at first but just figured maybe they did a wet compression test before they sent it out and had a Lil more oil in those 2 cylinders. I took out all the plugs to have a look inside and 4 and 6 both were wet while the others were dry. I could tell the turbo was also blown from oil in the cold side of the turbo. However I put it all together put the motor in and started it up. Now when I first started it I didn't have any intercooler piping on or anything covering the valve cover ports where the oil catch can goes. I now a Lil smoke from exhaust and from the valve covers but not much. I didn't have the exhaust hooked up. It was cut right after the 02 sensor. Well I turned it off after running for about 30 seconds because I didn't have any coolant in it. Just wanted to make sure it turns on. So the next day I hooked up ic piping and all the sensors and all the vacuum lines. Also routed the valve cover breather back into the intake before the turbo but after the maf. Now I turned it on again and ran it for about 30 seconds and it started to really smoke alot out the exhaust and if I reved it it would just poor out smoke and there was oil dripping out of the turbo outlet pipe. So I shut it off. Took off my intercooler piping and the pipes were just soaked in oil. All the way to the intake manifold. So I thought it was the turbo. So I took off the manifold and now 4 5 and cylinders 6 were all wet... I'm so confused now. If there is oil going back into the intake man I wouldn't it come out all 6 cylinders? I need some help figuring this out. I have a new turbo that I can put on but it's a aftermarket one so ima have to fab some stuff to get it to work but any ideas what it could be? I was thinking it could have something to do when I hooked up that valve cover hose to the intake. But it shouldn't blow by that much oil in less than 2 min am I right? Any input will help thanks
