out of these two, I'd personally go with Godspeed...

I didn't feel much difference with either one tho

i see that the isis sway bar has the welded ends

Go with Isis then. nearly the same quality just depends on what Godspeed or Isis part you're buying.

Size does matter, I don't remember the stock sizes anymore but unless you're doing some track stuff why run bigger? I mean sure go bigger just for the stiffness but it's not really necessary to go the biggest right away unless you feel so.

Just my opinion.

i agree
i plan on making it my daily and go to my local track here and there
so i think i am going with the isis

i already have 32 way megan coil overs that i got with the car new
and i have replaced every bushing on the car with engerysuspension so i think it should be good

Neither, go with a proven sway bar, not cheap garbage someone did absolutely no engineering on.

^that...

I'd still go with the Godspeed rather than ebay quality isis. you get what you pay for

im with jr_ss. Quality always beats out price. From what i have seen the difference in price for sway bars really isnt that much different between the brands.

It's really tough times, when you have to choose between isis and godspeed!

It's not tough times, it's people being ignorant and cheap. Everyone in this "scene" wants something for nothing. The knock off companies catered to their demands. Now you have a market flooded with shit products because they copied the real people that put the time and effort in to bring you great "engineered" pieces.

Pssh! Don't be so hard on yourself- You're not cheap :D

----------------------------------

Godspeed or Isis...

Diarreah or Gonnoreah... which do you prefer?

----------------------------------

OP- Congrats- the Whitelines LOOK nice... but do they DO what you want them to do??? Do you really NEED them? Have you tried replacing your current sway bar bushings & end links? Makes a world of difference and quality urethane bushings are very inexpensive (Energy or RS-R- NOT Megan!!!).

My rear sway bar is OEM 180SX. Installed RS-R bushings & Energy end links (both made by Energy IIRC)... Made a very nice difference with no need for some ginormous sway bar. For effect, I had it powder coated silver- simple, cheap, pretty and effective.

However, up front, I did the opposite- I changed the OEM front sway out for the big Tanabe SUSTEC w/urethane end links... Guess what? Between that, the Nismo power brace, the fender braces & huge preloaded tower brace; I pretty much welcomed myself to very linear, flat turns.... Yay right? Wrong- a world of understeer- gotta really work it in the tight turns to get decent weight transfer with the coilovers.

Be careful what you wish for...

If you want less understeer you need to go with a stiffer rear bar. Most guys that track their car run the OEM front bar and an upgraded rear. I know backwards from what you would think.

thanks for comments

mikester your right i guess i should mess with what i got now and go from there

i do have energysusepnsion everything and dam it feels like a different car except the sway bars haha

i see that the whiteline has the 3 adjustments on the ends to stiffin or make the sway bar soft correct me if im wrong
that will let me miss with the settings and figure out a nice layout for me

Not true. Our strut based suspension has such a bad camber curve that you get MORE front grip by stiffening the front and reducing camber loss. Stiffer up front will almost surely equal less understeer.

Your theory holds true for something with a nice suspension geometry and balanced roll stiffness like a Formula car.

Both front and rear are adjustable to "tune" your setup. I suggest purchasing the upgrade Ball joint style end links vs the the stupid S-bracket design.

Ah, makes sense, thanks for clarifying.

I am very happy with my Suspension Techniques sway bars. I think they are $299 at Enjuku. They are not quite as thick as the options you listed with 28.5mm front and 20.5mm rear. Not sure what car you drive, but I think an S13 non SE was stock with 24mm front and 15mm rear. I felt a big difference from stock to my ST bars.

I think that the Godspeed is a bit overkill at 30mm...seems like they are just overcompensating since nothing of theirs seems to be engineered.

I agree with most above, quality is always better than price. I typically try to do a step or 2 above the Isis/Godspeed stuff, even though I have a small budget myself.
