I just heard from Leonard at FiberImages that they now have C.F. hoods for the S14b.  Maybe you all know this, but it isn't on their web-site.  Whoever is responsible for managing the group buys, do your thing.  The price is $649 for one.  These are supposed to be very nice, using factory hinges and hood catch (no hood pins necessary).

ive already got mine from them......just so ya know initial test fit was excellent. ill know exactly how well it fits in a few weeks.....MAY be pickin car up from body shop this weekend (the guy keeps movin time back!!)

Nope foo...that's US biotch...:biggrin:  Russ (from 240 list) got his '95-'96 hood from them.   Paid around 500 plus 125 freight shipping plus another 125 to have it black/blue weave.  The cheapest I found for S14A and S14B is 475...from one of the distributors on www.fiberimages.com

Russ said the hood is the best quality he's ever seen...go to www.fiberimages.com and look at their "durability testing" videos.  They drive over a hood with a Jetta, drop a wheel on it, and have a dude jumping on one.  Durability my ass...more like TORTURE!

By the way...IIRC Isn't S14B '95-'96 and S14A '97-'98, as the B denotes "Before Minor Change" and the A denotes "After Minor Change"?  I dunno...I'm just gonna stick with Zenkei and Kouki.  :biggrin:

I've never seen a Fiber Images hood for much cheaper than 500 bucks...I was pretty surprised to see the 475 from one of their distributors.  From what I've heard, it's the best quality out there for CF Hoods...
