So i am having some issues with a recent 240sx I've got. It's rb20det swapped. And I'm having some running issues. Something is wrong with the tps. I set the tps to .45 because I noticed the screw was loose. Before I set the tps I was having high/hanging rev problems but that seems to have been resolved. But I am throwing code 43. The car also seems sluggish until boost.

Second off.. I'm having misfire problems. I've yet to figure out which cylinders are failing. It starts to misfire after driving the car when it's been warmed up to normal running temp for 5 - 10 min or so. The misfire isn't always consistent, sometimes it will clear up for a couple seconds. Sometimes it will only misfire under load then the next minute it's misfiring at idle also.(all in the same drive btw) I pulled the plugs and coil packs and cleaned the coil packs and made sure they're getting good contact. And replaced the spark plugs. I'm kind of clueless when it comes to rb20s. Anyone have similar symptoms? Or know what to check?

Ignitor chip could be failing, recommend upgrading to a j30 ignitor. Also check your plug gaps of course, coil pack wiring, make sure your coil packs aren't grounding out to the bracket(check boot, silicon, and make sure no cracks on the housing). My bet would be ignitor chip. The rb20 had issues with it sitting directly on our behind the motor, overheating the unit making it weaker than it already is. I upgraded to j30 and haven't had an issue since. If you need an ignitor, coil packs, or anything RB, let me know and I can hook you up.

awesome thank you. I think I'll try the ignitor first.

Just to update I did fix my problem. I was able to narrow it down to cylinder 5 and found a burn mark on the coil. Swapped with some I got from a buddy and the issue is gone!
