I was wondering if anyone on here can help me out and give me some info. Or even if you know anyone good with rb engines or a shop to recommend.

I'm stumped. It all started at the car wash. I washed the outside of my car and the car would not restart. I towed it home and found that I had a no spark issue. I replaced my cam angle sensor and the car started right up but died out quickly. I swapped my buddys spare ecu in and the car will now run and idle all day but it rev limits at 2500. I searched and found that it could be a bad maf or bad wiring. Since then I've tried 4 different mass airflow sensors, and traced my wiring from the sensor to the computer and didnt find any breaks. I even tested my voltages with a multimeter and I have 12v power, 12v ground, 12v signal ground, and about .4v signal with the key on and iirc about 1.1 or 1.2 running at idle.

My ecu gives me code "12" for airflow meter. I don't know what else to try.

Any input?

Is it possible to re run wires from the ecu to the airflow.?

Stock airflow?

Yes stock airflow meter. And its possible I was going to do that actually but I traced the wires the whole way and they are good. I also get the correct voltages at the maf and ecu so I didn't think it was necessary

Sounds like maf wiring issue... Mine did the same after the loom got hot and caused wires to ground out. Check the shielding on the wires inside the loom, even though the writes are good, if the signal and 12v aren't in individual shielding protecting them from each other and the grounds, that can cause your issue. Also, the damage may have already been done, open your ecu and look for a burnt trace. Can be fixed with some wire and solder. It is a temporary fix until you can get a good ecu, however, mine had ran with no issues for over a year now with it.

Ill check the wires again. The signal and signal ground and in the same insulated shielding but the 12v and 12v ground are seperate. And also I've tried a few different ecus
