Can get the car to run, rb25 just cranks but can't get it to spark. Swap has new spark plugs, ecu is good(tried it on my friends car)
I'm using the wiring specialties main and bottom harness. my relays click, fuel pump primes no blown fuses
not getting spark or fuel. i took my coil packs out, put a plug to them and get no spark when i crank the car. i know I'm not getting gas because spark plugs aren't wet or smell like gas at all. I Also pulled one of my coil packs out with an spark plug, turned the CAS manually and I'm getting zero spark.
all grounds are good even sanded down the paint to make sure they ground.
I printed the wiring specialties harness guide and re checked everything STEP BY STEP.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance guys

Did you try another CAS? As far as fuel goes, did you make sure the lines are not crossed?

I'm testing one out today.
At first I did have my lines crossed, fuel pump sounded clogged, bought another one, sounded the same, fixed the lines lol

if youre not getting spark, make sure the cas is aligned right.
buddy had the same problem with his rb20

okay, well I'm not getting spark regardless.
i checked with a multimeter see if i was getting voltage there. and I'm getting 12v. bad CAS?
but would a CAS make me not get any fuel or spark?

CAS tells the ECU the cam/crank position and the ECU figures out when to fire spark AND spray fuel.
Check the signal wire from the CAS to the ECU for continuity. Also, check the other wire on the CAS.

Tried a good CAS from my friends car and still nothing. Only thing I can think of is bad wiring harness. Ima contact wiring specialties tomorrow see what they say

Stock ECU? I'd start checking all the power pins to the ECU. The wiring harness relay that came built into my RB25 harness from WS was glitching and wouldnt pass the full 12v when it switches closed and caused my PFC to fritz. Might be the same thing going on with you. Find the relay close to the ECU plug, feel it and see if it clicks over when you power on the car. Switched it with a spare generic relay I had laying around and it fixed my issue a while back.

Yes stock ecu. And I think I can hear it click
I will try that tomorrow morning before work. I'll keep you posted
Thanks man!!!

Is this a new swap that has never been running since it was in your possession? Or was is running until just recently? Have you checked the ECU for any fault codes? Turn on power, turn the tiny screw on the ECU all the way to the left (if I remember correctly) and count the LED blinks. Since you're not getting fuel at the cylinder, have you verified fuel at the rail? Disconnect the fuel hose, turn the ignition, and you should get fuel squirting out for roughly five seconds.

Injectors. Pull the fuel rail out, spread towels over the head and and crank the car with the rail removed. If it sprays gasoline onto the towels you're getting fuel. To check spark, remove a coil pack and hold it over the valve cover. If you see spark you're getting spark. I'm putting my money on dried up injectors.

I'm getting fuel to the rail.
I will try the code thing tonight after work

I know I'm not getting gas pass the injectors because I pulled my spark plugs and smell 0 gas or they're not wet. I know I'm not getting spark because I already pulled my cool pack out with a spark plug in it, and see no spark when I try to crank it

Get a multimeter and check all the 12v pin out on the harness. Check all the 12v going in and verify you're getting them. Then check all the switched 12v when the power is on and make sure you're getting 12v in and out of the ECU. Look up the ECU pin outs so you know which ones to check.
