Reaching out for ideas guys.. newly installed KA24DE swap, NIstune, 740cc injectors, Z32 maf. the car fires right up and sounds very healthy, revs to about 2k (by itself) for approximately 2-3 seconds, then drops down and try's to idle, but it stumbles and eventually dies after about 10 seconds. there is no throttle response, any gas pedal movement doesn't make any difference in how the car responds. So far I have checked and verified the following..

-Boost leak tested to 15 psi, no leaks coming from anywhere, so I don't have a vaccum leak (first thought)
-Fuel pressure is 43 psi key on engine off, when its running (has vacuum)it drops to like 35-36 psi, but returns to 43 when it dies.
-TPS voltage is correct in nistune. 0.46v at idle, and smoothly increases with pedal increase.
-MAF voltage is .6v KOEO, running it is around 1.2v - 1.4v, but its hard to get a good reading in 1 second of smooth running. also swapped with a friends good known sensor, with identical voltage readings.
-Coolant temp sensor is brand new OEM Nissan, and reads like 23c (ambient temp)
-O2 sensor is brand new, but a bad O2 sensor wouldn't cause the car to act this way when it first turns on.
-timing was set mechanically, verified cams are spot on.
-Distributor was installed with the rotor facing cylinder 1 on the cap, perfectly center.
-brand new fuel lines in engine bay and fuel filter
-all vacuum hoses are brand new, and intake manifold was tapped for all un-used vacuum ports, like I said, I boost leak tested it to 15 psi, and had NO leaks.
-MAF is approximately 14" away from the turbo inlet, so there is plenty of pipe to prevent the MAF from getting turbulence.
-the Nistune ECU was tested on a friends car, with identical setup (no changes to tune) and his car started and idled fine, and would free rev with no issues.

anyone have any insight? some suggestions to check would be great. and before you zilvia crazies start hating, I have searched through the first 20 pages of google, with several keywords, and have found a few threads with similar issues, but no resolutions.

Adjust your tune until it runs right! And check for boost leaks.

well adjusting off base stock maps for 740cc injectors and z32 MAF, it "should" run like stock.. or at least fire up and idle. the ecu runs my friends car with an identical setup as mine (didn't change anything on the ecu).

I've done a boost leak test (see original post)

Thanks for the input though

Decided to go back to basics, and see if the car would run with all the stock programming..

swapped in OEM injectors, and OEM MAF, and OEM ecu to try to isolate the problem to being either mechanical, electrical, or tune related...

So far its not looking good for my nistune ECU, Injectors, or MAF. Now its time to isolate where the problem is.
