shifting issue question

ok so i can shift from 2nd gear to first but not directly into first and same thing with reverse....

anyone know what causes this and how to possibly fix it?? :c

Drain your fluid out and put in ATF and go just go around the block. Park the car and let it sit for a few hours so anything settles on the bottom of the tranny. Now get yourself some of this awesome stuff > http://www.lucasoil.com/products/display_products.sd?iid=29&catid=2&loc=show and lookup what your OEM fluid is and try to get as close to that as you can. Either way if it doesnt fix the problem completely it will make it much better dude

You can shift from 2nd to 1st, but not directly into 1st?
That sentence doesn't make any sense. are you trying this while the car is rolling, or stationary?

What tranny? When was the last chance you changed your fluid?
I'd do that and see what it does. My recommendation is Redline Shockproof Lightweight.

Stationary, I can sometimes go directly to first, but not always... It's kinda rare that I can lol

Bleed/Change fluid, and adjust pedal throw.
