hey guy i just bought a t28 turbo from o e of the member here how do i adjust it or do i need to change it in order for me to adjust it??? thanks in advance

You cannot adjust the boost using an actuator unless you have HKS actuator which it will allows up to 1.0 bar (14psi).

If the actuator rod is threaded you can tighten it (pull the flapper closed tighter) but I don't think the factory turbos had that. Any aftermarket garret with internal gate usually comes with an adjustable actuator.

well which way adds boost on a threaded actuator? tighter or looser??

Tightening or making the rod shorter will raise boost

Basically If its adjustable it'll have a small lock nut on it, break that free and turn the WG rod clockwise (prob grab it with pliers) , making it shorten and tighter... End result boost goes up and shit gets real

imagine there is little midgets inside the WG that pull as hard as possible to make it harder to open the flapper to release air.
