Hi everyone, I'm new here so don't get mad at me if i make any mistakes! and I'm a norwegian as well (that you can hate me for) haha, going to make a build thread about my 400whp s13, and maybe you guys can learn me a thing or tho along the way! :)


ENGINE:

- Tomei pistons
- Pauter rods
- ACL bearings
- Tomei crankshaft
- Tomei 260 kams with double valve springs
- Ported head, both intake side and exhaust side
- the block in bored too last overdim
- bigger valves both intake side and exhaust side
- homemade manifold in 321 stainless with garrett gtx3071R and tial v-band exhaust and a Tial 38mm water cooled wastegate
- I'm making a new intake now a days, but its a lot of calculation and so on too get it perfect, but it´s coming along great
- sard 880cc injectors
- autronic sm4 ECU
- oil cooler with duckting
- koyo radiator with duckting
- Duckting to turbo
- adjustable camshaft gears
- +++++++++

SUSPENSION AND BRAKES:

- Apexi coilovers
- skyline brakes in the back
- Wildwood 330mm brakes in the front
- rebuild too 5 bolt
- Skyline diff

INTERIØR:

- Recaro seats
- Momo steering wheel
- 4 punkt MOMO seat belts

EKSTERIØR:

- GP sport bodykit
- Painted purple
- zito rims


FUTURE PLANS:

- Full Type x kit orderd from Magic Aero (will receive 3/2-2014
- 50mm origin type 2 fenders ordered from FRsport
- make wheel housing in the back for the fenders
- Work Meister s1 rims
- Mount new intake manifold
- Mount new turbo and exhaust manifold
- Make new pipe gate too the turbo and intake
- Make some new tanks and other goodies
- Paint the whole car midnight purple
- Strip the chassis and sandblast every parts and paint them

A setup i built for kenneth moen´s toyota supra back here in norway! Pretty happy with the end result, back mounted radiator.. home made fuel cell and catch tank

Got my Type X kit from magic aero today.. i am super stoked, i highly recommend paul if you are going too buy type x.. i ordered with the club sport wing! think that combined with the origin type 2 fenders is going to be sick! will take some pictures of the kit tomorrow! :)

haven´t done any work with my own car, but I'm building pipe frame front on a RX7.. don't look at the car, the owner should have trashed the body a long time ago.. but he wanted a tubed front anyways, so thats what he´s going to get.. not done by far, but this is the progress of one nights work! :)

Plenum looks nice. Have you done any more educated guesses about runner lenght? The CA intakerunners curve up and almost enters the back of the plenum to maximise lenght. Custom plenums as yours usually reaches 50-75% of the stock runner lenght and the CA is not designed to give low RPM torque as is. Runner lenght matching a tune at 7000+rpm might make your intake worse than the stock one.

Yeah, still CA powered! :) pushing 400 HP too the wheels now with original casted manifold with garrett gt2876rs hybrid, original intake manifold etc! :)

The intake is all welded.. now i have too mount it in the car and cut the long pipe and put on a bend and a throttle body, also going to weld AN6 too vacuum! and wrinkle paint the whole thing!

been working on a supra and a rx7 the past weeks! but will start with my own car in a few weeks!
putting on the origin fenders, and the body kit! paint and so on..

can anyone recommend something? how is driftworks quallity?

going too peel the whole car underneeth and strip it for paint and grid and paint it, along with painting everything else aswell..

I'm planning on getting the Driftworks Geomaster drop knuckle kit and have various suspension arms. No experience with Driftworks until the knuckles come in.

Hehe, we are not that lucky! Europe is expensive on everything when it comes too building a car! :p and getting The car in The first place.. But nurburgring is pretty awesome too have nearby tho, along with other cool tracks!

going too be sandblasted from the doors and forward now in august, then we are going too paint the engine bay! put a newly overhauled engine back in.. then I'm going too send the car too someone who are going too wire the whole car! :))

hehe, yeah! aiming for 450/500whp on 98 pump gas.. fully forged bottom end, balanced crank, meassured all clearences, weight adjusted rods and pistons.. fully ported head, both exhaust and intake, and ignition chamber. i cant wait too see what it produces and what type of curve im getting.

the car will be running and "finished" by christmas i hope! :)

I am also a fan of the CA engines, they are quite surprising when pushed/ built right...i have a silvia K's with the CA and a USDM 240sx with a SR swap....i really enjoy driving the CA car. The current trend is to swap out for bigger engines/make more power...i'm not a fan of that...it does have some merits but i'd rather prove a point than follow the trend...just my thoughts.

The condition of the motor is not surprising....they are very stout when built and tuned properly....emphasis on the tune part.

so.. been doing some small work today! :) bought a new bandsaw today, so i can make some pie cuts :) too create some tight angles :) and makes it a lot easier too cut pipes and tubing :P been doing everything with a angle grinder so far :) so will be nice with a saw!

That tube will have a lid on it :) that is the filling point on the water.. just going too have a chase bays tucked radiator with 2 AN16 fittings. this will also be the highest point on the water so air can get out :)

totally agree! :) i bought the cheapest tires they had because the car is not beeing finished anytime soon :P so i thought it was waste too buy R888 now. but im going too increase the width too 245 in the front and 265 in the back :)

AND.. i started the fusebox relocation today!

Im going too lay this out abit more explained when im going further along, but here is some pictures so you can see the progress. Stripped the whole harness today, and started cutting and labeling. You can see where i have cut the harness, and im also dividing the harness into pieces in terms of labeling, front right side im labeling with A1 A2 etc, middle B1 B2 etc and right side C1 C2 etc.. And a big tip! TAKE YOUR TIME doing this, label EVERY wire and write down things so you dont forget it.


im going too wrap everything with braided wires and heat shrinks. and label everything.

Hey, paint code is Porsche Carbon Grey Metallic with a slight dish of brown in it.

When you see the color in the sun the car appears slightly brown, and at night its´s almost black. Pretty awesome color in my opinion.

as long as you have TUV papers on the springs it shouldn't be any problems. and you follow the papers in terms of height.

I'm going too approve KW v3 coilovers, and skyline brakes aswell.
