My Ka24de start up after about a week & couple days after my car overheated. if you look through my windshield you can see water gush out my rad filler. & this was the first time i heard that squeaky noise as if the belt is loose or something. it was fine before.

Yup thats why im not driving it yet. From a previous thread post it seems i have a bad thermostat or waterpump but i havent had time to test. Im gunna test the thermostat tomorrow. Im also gunna be doing a compression test soon i jist need to get the tester
best case scenario ,blown head gasket. worst case, warped/cracked head or block.

Fuck that. Shops charge wayyyy to much. Im just gunna have to call a friend who knows just as much to help.
gotta check the head and block for warpage, and i would suggest taking the head to a shop to check for cracks . there's a special spray that shows cracks too, but i havent used it personally...

How long was it over heated? It takes a lot to warp things.
